What are the distinct structural features of sodium and potassium bicarbonates ?

The structures of sodium and potassium bicarbonates provide interesting examples of hydrogen bonding.
(1) In the potassium salt contains a dimeric anion.
(2) But In the sodium bicarbonate, the HCO3- anions form an infinite chain.
