What is the structure of salol? And also give the IUPAC name, uses?

 Salol is the chemically phenyl ester of salicylic acid. Its IUPAC name is Phenyl salicylate and it is a benzoate ester.

Phenyl salicylate can be formed by heating salicylic acid with phenol and is used sunscreens, an internal antiseptic and as a mild analgesic and also in the manufacture of some polymers, lacquers, adhesives, waxes and polishes.
