Glycerol is a three carbon containing trihydroxy alcohol its common name are  Glycerol or Glycerine  and it's IUPAC name is Propane-1,2,3-triol; 

Glucosamine  is an amino sugar and a prominent precursor in the biochemical synthesis of glycosylated proteins and lipids. and its molecular formula is (C₆H₁₃NO₅) and it structure is given below.

From above descriptions it is clear that Glycerol and Glucosamine both are different.
