Can we prepare aniline by Gabriel – phthalimide reaction?

No, We know that Gabriel phthalimide reaction requires the treatment of potassium phthalimide with C6H5Cl or C6H5Br. Since aryl halides do not undergo nucleophilic substitution under ordinary laboratory conditions, therefore C6H5Cl or C6H5Br does not react withbpotassium phthalimide to give N – phenylphthalimide and hence aniline cannot be prepared by this method.

What is Hinsberg's reagent and where Hinsberg's test use?

Hinsberg's reagent is benzene sulphonyl chloride and it use for distinguished between 1°, 2° and 3° amine .
Primary amines contains two active Hydrogen so easy react with benzene sulphonyl chloride and form a salt, which is dissolved in NaOH due to remain another active Hydrogen. Secondary amines have  only one hydrogen so it react with Benzene sulphonyl chloride but does not dissolve d in NaOH. Tertiary amines have no active Hydrogen so does not react with Benzene sulphonyl chloride.
